Takenoko means “baby bamboo shoots”—one of spring’s most exciting arrivals in Japan. As the tender green shoots push through the earth, they’re harvested and enjoyed as a much-loved seasonal delicacy. Their vivid new leaves mirror the fresh greens of momiji (maple trees) as winter loosens its grip. In Japan, spring is deeply symbolic—an awakening, a renewal…a gentle reminder that nature always begins again.

This is a UNISEX FIT, similar in cut to the popular Via Shimanami jersey some tour members have purchased previously—flattering and functional for all bodies. (Just check out Tina and Tim rocking the same size, same jersey in our photo for reference on fit! Produced by Sub4 Apparel, we both wear an M).

For the best fit, PLEASE us our Wheel Women size chart pictured above and compare to jerseys you already own.

Made from soft stretch fabric, this jersey feels as good as it looks. With UPF 50 protection and three generous rear pockets, it’s built for comfort, practicality, and all-day riding joy.
