From Nagasaki’s layered history to the art-drenched shores of Naoshima, and
along the breathtaking Shimanami Kaido, what’s coming next is an adventure
to immerse and fall in love with.

Hiroshima to Nagasaki
Explore the amazing history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki...both now centres of peace, renewal and goodwill. Cycling from Hiroshima Prefecture and the glorious islands of the Seto Inland Sea we will cross from Honshu into Kyushu to explore the gateway where Europeans first entered Japan.

Setouchi Dreaming
The Seto Inland Sea offers so much..islands, blue seas, pristine forest roads, calming paths through endless rice fields. From the gateway of the Shimanami Kaido we will work our way around the Setouchi area exploring islands and then head inland for some excellent cycle paths that take us from the old town of Kurashiki to cycling central Uno before heading to art island Naoshima.

The Shimanami Kaido is Japan's first National Cycle Route. It is a cyclist's dream and we know the area like locals...so we take you on an advenrure to see, feel and experience the Shimanami 'like a local'. Though we can follow the famous 'blue line', we like to go where the roads are less travelled and the experinces unforgettable.
